Sandrine Holt was born Sandrine Holt on the streets of London on the 19th of November, 1972. The daughter of the Chinese father as well as an French mother. At the age of five she moved to Toronto, Canada, and has been calling it home ever since. Prior to becoming an actress, she was an Paris catwalk model. Her first film role was Annuka In Black Robe (1991). This role was recognized with a Genie Award, the Canadian Oscar. Holt started her career in minor guest roles as well as part-time roles in the series. In 2013, she was cast in the role of Hostages as the main character Hostages and was also cast as a support character in Netflix's House of Cards. Holt was Julie Han as part of the US remake The Returned and Dr. Bethany Exner.
